The modern Merida International Airport serves as destination for
several direct flights from the U.S. and connecting flights from
Latin America and the Caribbean (through Mexico City and other hubs).
Major airlines with service at Merida include: Mexicana, Continental,
Aero Mexico and Delta. The hacienda is only a short flight from
these major cities: Mexico City (1 hr, 40 min), Houston (1 hr, 50
min), Miami (1 hr, 30 min), Cancun (35 min).
Driving Directions from Merida Airport: After
leaving the airport turn left, following the signs Cancun, after
2 miles (3 kilometers), turn right of the bridge to get on the ring road to
Cancun. After 2 miles (3 kilometers), turn right and take the highway to Campeche
(No. 180), after 26 miles (41 kilometers) (passing the villages of Chochola
and Kopoma) take a right turn after the sign indicating: Maxcanu.
Continue for another 4 miles (6 kilometers) (do not drive inside the town
of Maxcanu!) and take a right turn after the sign “Hacienda
Santa Rosa”. The Hacienda is about 6 miles (10 kilometers) from the
main road. You will enter first the village of Granada, continue
for about 5 miles (8 kilometers) more, and then arrive at the village of Santa
Rosa. The hacienda is in the center of this community.

the Highway (toll road) Cancun – Merida after 186 miles (300 kilometers),
arriving at the ring road in Merida, turn left following signs indicating
Campeche, after approximately 6 miles (10 kilometers) turn right from the
ring road and take the highway to Campeche (No. 180), after 26 miles (41 kilometers)
